Rodeo

Well this past Saturday Glen and I took the kids and went to a chili cook off and a rodeo at the Lynden fair grounds. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed being outdoors. The chili cook off was a little disappointing but we still had fun. We took the kids on a hay ride which they enjoyed.Then we went and took our seats for the rodeo. We were there early since we had been there for the cook off. So we just hung out and ate some food and the kids entertained the people around us. Marquis and Madisyn were both really good until the rodeo started, as soon as they started singing the National Anthem Madisyn started throwing a fit. We ended up having to take both kids out for the first few minutes of the rodeo. But after madisyn took a little nap and marquis used the restroom things went a little smoother. we actually had a great time. Marquis loved the rodeo clown he thought he was so funny. And he also loved seeing the "cows'. He thought it was mean to tie the cows up. It was so cute. Glen thought the little kids riding the bucking sheep was hilarious. It was a great family outing and we would love to go agian next year.
