A trip from you know where

On Feb. 17 my mom and i took the kids to Indiana for a 5 day visit of family and friends. Our 5 day vacation didn't not start out well. We missed our flight out of Seattle which put us behind schedule for our connecting flights, when we finally made it to the Indianapolis airport our rental car was gone and all the rental places were sold out of cars except one that had a small car that didn't fit all of our stuff for like triple the $$. We got that car and we left for our hotel. My mom and Madisyn were sick for the first 2 days we were there so we didn't do much. Then we finally got to hang out with some family, we got to see my brother Josh and his 3 kids and my brother Jess and his daughter and my moms side of the family for a lunch.Then I got sick and we couldn't fly out, then the kids got sick so we got stuck there a little longer. Then the kids got so sick i had to take them to the ER. Marquis was admitted (after being there 2 times and getting sent home) with pneumonia and Madisyn was giving meds and sent home. Marquis had low oxygen level and was in the Pediatric unit for 4 days on oxygen and IV meds. While he was in there Madisyn had to go back to the ER with a 104.6 fever. She had pneumonia as well but never got admitted to the hospital. Marquis got discharged from the hospital only to come back to the hotel with Madisyn getting worse and having a hard time breathing. With all this going on we couldn't get the airlines to get us a flight home for another week. I called the airlines again and explained what was happening and managed to get us a flight out the next day. With all this going on and me spending more and more money being stuck in Indiana in a hotel and rental car for 2 weeks longer than we had planned Glen lost his job. Fun stuff let me tell you. WE finally made it home, barely! We got home at 4 am Friday morning and slept for a few hours then i called the kids doctor and my doctor, got Madisyn some new medicine that is doing a lot better and i went to the doctor to find out i have pneumonia as well. What a trip let me tell you! Now we are supposed to be going to California on Wednesday, we will see if that is really going to happen. No more trips to Indiana for us!!
