Work out!!

Ok, so I knew i was out of shape, but i didn't realize how out of shape i really was until we got a new bike trailer to take the kids on bike rides or walks. It was pretty easy the first time i took them on a walk with our new toy, so of course i thought i bet this will be really easy to pull. Yeah right. After figuring out how to get the thing hooked up to the bike, (an hour later) and going and pumping up the tired on the bikes, i put the kids in and started our first bike ride together. I did alright at first but as soon as i got to a slight hill i thought i could not move my leg one more inch. i thought i was going to have to turn around and end the ride. I encouraged myself for the kids sake to keep going and let them enjoy it because i was NEVER going to do it again. The whole time Chyanne was making fun of me telling me what a whimp i was. So i gave her a turn on the way back. Well she could hardly do it either. Well, the next day i took Madisyn for a ride (Marquis was at Nana's house), i then came and took about a 2 minute break and went for another ride with her trying to get myself in better shape, i was forcing myself to do this. When Glen got home that evening he told me i looked worn out, well i was and i told him about the bike ride. He began making fun of me as well, then i told him to go try it for himself. Before he went he dicided to check the tires with a tire gage. Guess what both bike tires were flat and so was one of the tires on the trailer, so this whole time i thought i was such a weak out of shape mom i was riding on 3 flat tires!!! So we pumped them all up to the level they were supposed to be and Glen went for a ride and came back all out of breath and then i went for another round and discovered yeah its hard but not near as hard as it was the first few times. Anyway, for any of you thinking of getting a bike trailer for your kids just realize its not as easy as it looks and you are getting yourself into some serious workouts!!!

That is SO funny! You must be way tough to pull two kids with three flat tires! haha Would you recommend the trailer? Spence and I were thinking about checking one out. . .
