Yesterday i took the kids and we went to my friend Katie's house ( i graduated with Katie, we were really good friends through out elementary-high school). She now has 2 little kids. Griffin who is 9 months older than Marquis and Piper who is a month older than Madisyn. We had a wonderful play day together. We first took the kids on a walk, the boys rode in one stroller and the girls in another. We kept getting asked if they were twins! The walk took a little longer than it should have, we ended up stopping several times because the Marquis kept wanting me to push them and Griffin wanted his mom to push. And if that wasn't the case at least one of the girls was crying for something. We walked to the store and bought some sprinkles so we could go make some cookies. We got back and began our adventure. We made the dough and rolled it out, the boys then began using cookie cutters to make what they wanted, however, Marquis wouldn't stop eating the dough and Griffin wouldn't stop eating the sprinkles. They didn't really understand the cookie cutting thing either because they kept cutting over ones they had already cut! It was cute though, I snapped a couple pictures but it was so messy and caotic i didn't have much time with the camera. Of course the kids lost interest after awhile so Katie and I were left finishing up. It was a great first cookie making project for all of us!! When it was time for us to go home Marquis didn't even want to come with me, he just kept telling me "bye mom" i finally got him out to the car as he was throwing a total fit because he wanted "Tatie". He had so much fun and all the kids were so tired, Marquis fell asleep not even 5 minutes after we left. It was a long fun day!!

Kaiyenna helped me make chocolate chip cookies once, and she grabbed an egg and chucked it on the ground. It was pretty funny!
those messy activities sometimes end up being the most fun!
