Christmas and catch up!

Its been a long while since I have updated our blog so i will try to remember as much as i can that we have done since the last post.
Chyanne moved in with us Dec. 16th, then my mom came the 21st. We had a good Christmas thanks to so many thought family and friends. The Christmas season is so special and spiritual.We took the kids to see Santa and Marquis loved it, he told Santa what he wanted for Christmas and he got it! madisyn was excited to see Santa, well until we actually got up to him, then she freaked out. We enjoyed having family around for the holidays, its always a little stressful but good at the same time. We had a fine new years, didn't do anything besides stay home and celebrate. Got really sad news New years day. Our cousin was due the end of January beginning of feb. with her second child and gave birth Dec. 29th and sadly he was still born. I feel for them every single day, it makes me think of what i have and the way i handle situations with my kids. Its so hard to know what to say or what you can do for someone in that situation, especially when they don't live near by.
Then we took Nana back to the airport for her to go home on the 4th and that was so sad. The kids were so upset. Marquis was insisting that he went with her and i told him he would miss me he said "you can come to mom". He had a really hard time with Nana leaving him. A few days after she left, marquis and i were in the car together and had the following conversation:
Marquis - " i want Nana to come over"
Me- She can't she lives really far away in hawaii"
Marquis- in a sad tone "i wanna go to hawaii"
Me_ " me too"
Marquis- still in a sad tone " i wish i had a ticket"
Me- i wish i hada ticket too"
Marquis- "yeah lets get one"
He really wants to go to hawaii, every day he asks if we can go there or wishes he had a ticket or pretends he is on the beach in hawaii. So cute and sad at the same time.Some day son some day!
Marquis and Madisyn both went to the dentist for the first time and both had a cavity. :( no fun, they have to go in to get them fixed with sedation. WE went to the part to play with it covered in snow. It was pretty fun. Jynifer moved out. Glen got a calling at church as a Den leader for boy scouts. Marquis is in primary at church now he is a Sunbeam. He had a hard adjustment at first, threw a fit for the first 30minutes the first sunday but didn't cry at all this past sunday. So proud of him. We are looking into getting him into preschool as soon as we can now that we have been settled and will be here for a bit. Even though we wish we were moving to Hawaii. We are making moving to Hawaii our goal after glen finishes nursing school. We really miss it. Madisyn and Marquis are growing and changing like crazy. Madisyn is 36 inches and 27 lbs. Marquis is 40 inches and 37 lbs. They are getting very smart and amaze me every day. Marquis has also started lying about anything and everything and i DO NOT like it. I don't know what to do to fix it or why it started. Madisyn is as bossy as ever. And they both HATE going to bed. It takes AT LEAST and hour to get them to sleep every night. and they throw fits and scream and make messes.Every day i dread bed time. Thats all i can think of for the time being.
Oh yeah, i think the last post was before thanks giving, we spent our Thanksgiving this year with our friends/neighbors the Abadians this year and had a wonderful time. Great food, fun people and entertaining game. We apprecaite the generosity. They also had an "ugly sweater" party at there house that didn't end up being and ugly sweater party we just went and hung out played some games with great friends (the Ostranders and the Abadians) and ate ALOT of desserts.
