Halloween fun

We had a great Halloween this year. The night before Halloween we all did our pumpkins. WE had a good time and the kids thought it was pretty cool. I only got a picture of Marquis and Madisyns pumpkins because we did their first and after they went to bed Glen and i did ours and were to tired to go out and take a picture of them all together i figured we would do it the next night. However when we got home from trick-or-treating 2 of our pumpkins had been smashed in the road so we didn't' get a picture of all of them. Bummer.
We got the kids all dressed and ready and took them to Nana's work for a little Halloween party. We hung out there for a about 20-30 minutes and the kids were ready to move on. WE then took them to the local mall for the trick-or-treat at the stores. Their Halloween costumes were a hit. We got tons and tons of compliments. We walked to whole mall, which took us 45 minutes and then we head out to the church trunk-or-treat. We let the kids play inside with some of the activities that were going on and took them to to trunks to get their candy. Marquis was having so much fun we decided to keep going. From there we went to the Everson Fire station, because when we drove by Marquis wouldn't stop talking about the big trucks(they had the garage doors open so kids could look at the fire engines). One of the volunteer firefighters took us around one of the trucks and Marquis loved it. Then we went to a little neighborhood and went door to door for about a block and a half. Madisyn was so funny, whenever anyone opened their door she would try to b-line it in, then when she realized she couldn't go in she would grab a handful of candy out of the bowl they were holding. And Marquis just kept wanting to keep going to every house even if their lights weren't one. Eventually we had to make them stop, I think they got enough candy to last until they are 10. Anyway, we had a wonderful night. And those who say Halloween is much more fun when you have kids, are RIGHT! My kids were so cute and so fun to watch they both got into it this year. Can't wait to see what the next few holidays have in store for us.
