So its been a little bit since i have posted. Our family has been a little ( ok a lot) stressed out the past week and a half. A week ago from this past Saturday Glen and i were getting ready to go out on a date for the 2nd time since we have had kids. Well, first off Glen took the van down to the gas station to grab a couple things before we were to leave. It was taking him a really long time and i was concerned, when he got home he explained the whole situation to me. The front passenger tire had completely gone out and the car wouldn't not go over 10mph and when it hit 10mph the engine would only rev. He tried taking the flat tire off, and after breaking a couple of his own tools and the neighbors tool, the tire was still on. Come to find out one of the bolts that holds the tire on fused to the rim. A few days went by and he finally was able to drill the bolt off. Only to find out the van would not move in reverse, so he pushed it in reverse. Then guess what... the van still would only reach 10mph and just rev. So the van is dead, the mechanics say its the transmit ion and it needs a complete overhaul which will cost at least 2,200 and it would be this vans 4 transmission, which is ridiculous. We have decided not to put the money into the "POS" and start looking for a new car. Which is a difficult thing to do when you weren't planning on it and have no means of transportation to do so. Meanwhile, me and the kids have been stranded at home!! AHHH!! We rented a car this past weekend to do some car shopping and run some errands, it was nice to have a break from the house. And Marquis got to spend the night with his Nana and Auntie Cha cha. Anyway, that is what is happening in our lives right now. We are all stressed out and trying to make the best of the situation.
