this guy (who let his kids paint his face)
has gone back to college. He is super busy with being a full time student and working full time. He also has to watch the kids at night when he gets home so that i can work. Which means yes, I started a new job, i work from home but i have shifts i have to work. I started working for JetBlue airways back in November.Someday we will start using the flight benefits we get with me working there. So with these 2 big changes things have been super busy and i have realized just how lucky i was to be a stay at home mom without a job. The kids are handling it ok i think. They have their moments where they do crazy things to get attention. But things are going good.
Christmas was good the kids got what they wanted,Marquis only asked for skates (and he loves them) and Madisyn asked for real make up(which is what is painted all over glens face in the above pic)we had our first Christmas with just us 4 and then i had to work that day so Glen made us a wonderful Christmas dinner. We took the kids to Temple Square 2 nights before Christmas to see all the beautiful lights and nativity.
We are absolutly done with winter, i am so tired of the cold and the brown ugliness. The kids both keep asking if we can just move to Hawaii. And Glen is tired of working out in the cold. It is our goal to SOMEDAY hopefully sooner than later move back to Hawaii. We are not people who like cold and are dreaming of warmer weather.

Having a dad/husband in school and working is so tough. But it pays off! So I've heard. :)
I hear ya on the cold, brown desert. I like a snow for a few days. You can go out and play, the novelty doesn't wear off, and then it goes away. We're living in the wrong place, too.
