Hawaii

We had a wonderful vacation to hawaii this past month. Me,Jynifer and the kids left thursday night the 29th of april and we drove to Seattle. We drove all night not sleeping. It was a hard trip. I got so sleepy at one point I stopped at a gas station and bought one of those 5 hour energy shots, I guess mixing one of those and no sleep is not a good thing, I started seeing things and felt like the van was spinning in circles so i had to let jynifer drive for a bit. We made it to seattle around 10 am friday morning. What a drive. The kids and i stayed in washington for 4 days. We got to visit cousins, and friends and have lots of fun. Then we went to the airport early tuesday morning and flew to Hawaii on a 6 hour flight. The kids did pretty good on the flight there. We rented a digiplayer on the flight b/c the kids insisted, bad idea they watched it for maybe 10 minutes and were done with it, a waste of money. We were very excited to see Nana,Chyanne, and Jynifer when we arrived. The greeted us with beautiful leis.
We had so much fun the 3 weeks we were in hawaii though. The kids loved the Polynesian cultural center and the dancers, they absolutely loved the beach. we were at the beach everyday we were there except 2. Even when it rained. We caught geckos, snails, starfish and toads. We always were doing something and keeping busy. We had so much fun with Nana and ChaCha and Jyn when she was there with us. We took lots of pictures, swam with some turtles, found cool shells, floated in innertubes (one of the kids fave things to do) and marquis learned to surf and madisyn learned to swim all by herself in the ocean and she loved snorkeling. We spent lots of time at the beach and we loved every minute of it. We did the touristy stuff to, like went to matsumoto shave ice, Kua'aina burger, the swap meet Dole planation for the delicious pineapple icecream went out to dinner at Turtle Bay resort (where Nana works) and well the PCC 3 times.OH and can't forget that i rode my moms bike down to Ted's bakery for their famous yummy chocolate haupia pie. Some lady thought i was so funny carry a pie on my bike she asked to take my picture. And speaking of pictures, i can't even count how many people i caught taking my kids picture or asked to take their picture. Guess i have pretty cute kids. Madisyn got her first kiss while there. We were playing at sunset beach and a little boy came up and played with the kids for awhile, when we had to leave madisyn gave the little boy a hug and he decided to kiss her right on the lips, then all 3 kids got embarrassed and started running around. SO cute, as we walked off marquis yelled back to the boy "thank you for giving my sissy kisses". It was so cute, Madisyn talked about it for days.
We had so much fun and hope someday we are able to move our family there. we feel like thats where we belong. The kids were like little fish in the ocean and i loved watching them enjoy themselves every day. They changed alot while we were there. Madisyns hair was super curly while there and marquis was tan after being there like a day. I am sure there was lots more that went on but thats all my brain can think of right now.

Three weeks?!? What an awesome trip! Glad you made it safely to Washington after driving through the night. Scary. I can't drive when I'm tired AT ALL. I seriously have pulled over and slept on more than one occasion. :)
